INVISALIGN
The Invisalign treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable plastic aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. The aligners are thin and virtually invisible
Why should I choose Invisalign?
Invisalign’s research spans over 20 years and is the most advanced clear aligner system in the world. Moreover, over 14 million people have used Invisalign clear aligners to transform their smiles. The plastic aligners are FDA-approved and do not contain BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten.
Why should I choose clear aligners?
Clear aligners are highly preferred by those who wish to set their teeth straight while experiencing minimal disruption to their looks and lifestyles

How do I kickstart my Invisalign journey?
Step 1: Arrange for a personal consultation and iTero 3D scan
Your doctor will conduct a complete analysis of your facial profile, malocclusion, and teeth condition using X-rays.
Step 2: Formulating a Treatment Plan
Step 3: Your journey begins
On your next visit, your doctor will add small tooth-coloured
attachments to your teeth. These attachments act as “handles”
to help the aligners get a better grip on your teeth,
gradually pushing them into their correct positions. Your
first aligner will be inserted and he will guide you to put on
and remove the aligners.
For best results, aligners should be worn 22 hours a day and a
new aligner is used every 7 — 14 days. We will check on your
smile progress every 4 — 8 aligners to ensure a smooth
aligning journey!
Additional aligners may be required to tweak the final tooth
positions. Once treatment is completed, you will be given a
set of retainers to maintain your beautiful smile!
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How long will my Invisalign treatment take?
The duration of your Invisalign treatment will depend on the complexity of your case and compliance with the use of the aligners and chewies. In general, orthodontic treatment duration ranges from around 1-3 years.
Is Invisalign a good substitute for conventional braces?
Over more than 20 years, Invisalign’s technology has improved through research and is currently able to treat most complex cases as well as braces. In some cases, Invisalign may even be a preferred option - do check with your Orthodontist which orthodontic appliance suits you best!
Is Invisalign treatment uncomfortable?
With all types of orthodontic appliances, gentle pressure is
applied as your teeth are moved to the desired position. This
creates the “aching” or “sore” feeling in your teeth.
Invisalign aligners are designed to make controlled steps in
teeth movement as you change each aligner, so that the comfort
and speed of treatment is well balanced. We seek to maximise
our patient’s comfort by customising and designing your
treatment plan such that the forces of each aligner are low
and evenly distributed. As you diligently wear your aligners,
the tightness fades away quickly!
Unlike fixed braces brackets, Invisalign does not have sharp
corners that may cause the occasional abrasion to your lips
and cheeks - and that means no more ulcers!
How much does Invisalign cost?
We offer 4 types of Invisalign packages with different pricing. The package details are as follows:
- Comprehensive Package
- Moderate Package
- Lite Package
- Express Package
Your orthodontist will advise you which treatment package is more suitable for you.
Can Invisalign change my profile?
Depending on your initial teeth position, orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign, may be able to improve your lip profile by moving your teeth to the appropriate positions. However, like any other orthodontic treatment, Invisalign only moves teeth and not your jaw. Hence, the correction of the jaw profile can only be corrected by jaw surgery
Can I remove my aligners whenever I need to?
Yes! This is one of the perks which comes with adopting Invisalign for your orthodontic treatment! You can remove the aligners for meals, brushing, flossing, special occasions, sports and playing of instruments. Just make sure to wear your aligners for at least 20-22 hours daily for best results!
How do I take care of my aligners?
- Remove your aligners while eating and drinking, except for cold plain water. Food and drinks may stain and crack the aligners and hot water will cause them to deform.
- Brush your teeth after meals before putting your aligners back on. Food trapped under the aligners may encourage bacteria growth which leads to tooth decay.
- Always store your aligners in the case provided. Keep aligners away from hot food and drinks, hot car dashboards, pockets, the washing machine, napkins, and pets!
- It’s simple to clean your aligners! Using a toothbrush and toothpaste will do the trick.
- Aligners are breakable, so treat yours with care.
What happens if I lose or break an aligner?
If you lose or break your aligner, contact our clinic
immediately. Our doctors will work with you to make sure your
treatment plan continues to proceed smoothly. Depending on
your treatment progress, your doctor may advise you to skip to
the next aligner, or revert to the previous aligner while
ordering a replacement for the lost aligners. It is best to
safe-keep your previous set of aligners every time you move on
to your next aligners for emergencies like these.
To avoid losing your aligners, always store your retainers in
the case provided. Do label your case with your name and
contact number.
What comes after my Invisalign treatment?
Like all orthodontic treatment, you will have to wear a set of
retainers once you have completed your Invisalign journey to
maintain your new smile. Retainers should be worn all the time
for the first 6 months after completing your Invisalign
treatment, and thereafter every night minimally to prevent
your teeth from shifting out of position. As the saying goes,
“ wear your retainers for as long as you want your teeth to be
straight”!
Our packages come with a set of clear retainers which work the
same way, and are slightly thicker and more durable compared
to your Invisalign aligners. If you prefer to have retainers
which are more similar to the Invisalign aligners, you may opt
for Vivera retainers instead.
